Episode 5 – Interview Bettina Mussulemi and Jodi Levitz

Bettina Mussumeli studied with Studied with Galamian and Dorothy DeLay and soloist at I Solisti Veneti.
Thanks to her lessons with Kató Havas she fully recovered from a chronic shoulder injury and above all it opened her eyes to a new way of violin playing.

Jodi Levitz is viola professor at the Frost School of Music and recording artist. She was Julliard graduate and viola soloist at I Solisti Veneti.
She met Kató Havas through Bettina Mussumeli and it enormously influenced her. In her teaching, Kató is there every day. Not in directive way, but in a holistic idea that playing should be natural. What’s coming out of your instrument should be your own voice.
