Dijana Ihas is associate professor of music education at Pacific University in Oregon. She plays the viola and other (string) instruments. Because of her professional interest in string pedagogy approaches, she came across the books of Kató Havas.
Applying the approach to her own playing, in particular the holistic character and the relationship between thumb and fourth finger, was like a life-changing event for her.
